On May 1, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case. If 30 days
have passed and you have not received this notice. Please call the
National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 during business hours.


I assume/wish this is just good as an aproval letter...

Thank you very much friends! I think all ND 04 and ND 05 are very close to their approvals now.

I just got another email this morning and my case has been officially approved-

Current Status:

On May 1, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new
card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.


Had a LUD too today. I am looking forward to receiving my card now!

So, yesterday when you received the welcome notice email you didn't get an LUD?
 
Oh sure I got a LUD yesterday too.

In my case there was no LUD at all after that one for getting Bio3 done (3/6/06) and believe me I have been checking my online account almost everyday. It was very frustrating. On last friday night (04/28/06) my LUD was still 3/6/06 and I didn't check it on the weekend, so probably that's the reason I missed that magic "case not found" message. But anyway what a great feeling and surprise when I opened my email Monday morning and found that welcome notice!

I filed my asylum application at the end of May 2003, at that time even in my wildest dream I couldn't imagine I would get GC in May 2006!

And also, just realized it was in May 2005, exactly one year ago that Real ID Act was passed.

This is definitely the best immigration forum online. Thank you all and to all those friends who are still waiting, you are really very close now!
