ND 8/99 case survey

I was wondering how many people with ND 8/99 were left without approval notice. I have seen so many 9/99 cases were approved on this board. It looks like INS completely forgot 8/99 cases. If you are in the same situation as me, please post here. My case: RD 8/2/99, ND 8/16/99, FP 7/3/00, China, NIW, still waiting, nothing heard from VSC.

My case: RD Aug 05, 99, ND Aug 25, 99, FP Jun 01, 00 EB2 (China).
I called VSC last week, and was told that it is under review, and could take less than 4 months to finish. However, my friend\'s (ND Sep 14, FP Aug 07, 00, EB3) was approved last week.

I have not heard anything yet. It is difficult to watch people with later dates getting approved and not do anything. I am happy for them, but why not us!

I suggest that anybody with ND in Aug\'99, start calling your lawyers. May be they can get something moving. Any other idea?

Please talk to your lawyers and see if there is anything they can do to remind INS about our cases.

I am in the same boat. See people with later NDs getting approvals and we still waiting. I am worried that INS will continue processing Sept onward cases, very soon holiday season will be here, there will be slow downs and we will keep waiting for a looooong time. Sounds pessimistic, but I remember applicants from Aug/Sept\'98 went thru\' similar phase.

I have noticed that people with RD towards the end of July, and ND in the first half of August have got their case approved if a RFE request was made. Any thoughts on this?
