ND 8/12/99 Msg changed to RFE

Yesterday my message was changed to "a letter was sent requesting
additional evidence or information" (I suppose that means RFE), but
my wife\'s message hasn\'t been changed.

I am assuming this RFE is for Bio (G325 or G325A - what is the difference
between these two, by the way) since we changed our address, since we started the i485 process.

If I talk to IIO, would they tell us what the RFE was about?

what I would do..
is to wait until you get the notice from lawyers.. as the IIO\'s now a days are getting very impatient in answering something for which they sent out a notice.. (ofcourse this is my opinion !!)

Similar situation happened to me.. and in my case both myself and my wife\'s message changed.. as they asked for additional information on my wife (in regards to medical exam) and in my case in regards to last 3 months paystubs.. last 3 years tax forms and all w2\'s and supporting documents from my employer that the firm is still interested in my permanent employment.

You are right in guessing that this is an RFE. But generally, the IIOs will not be able to tell you the exact contents of the RFE, even though they can arrange to re-send one to you, if you missed the first one in the mail or something like that....
