Hey Dimpu,
  Did u check with IIO to find out the status of ur application. I checked with FBI today and found that my FP results are cleared and sent back to INS on 3/29/01(same day). Do you think is it a good time to call IIO and check for the status. Any input is appreciated

My company lawyer just came and gave me the approval notice.. I have to still get it at home...
Maybe its waiting in the mailbox :)

I did not call IIO and am not planning to either.
According to Ciba, there is no need to call IIO to confirm that they received the FP.

If FBI sent it, then they have received it. If you don\'t hear anything for more than two months, then u may want to call.

But if it makes u feel better, go ahead and call.

Yup, that\'s ours.

Got it in the mail from CSC today!

My wife called and spoke to IIO last week, and was told that they had rcvd our FP, but case was not assigned to an officer.
Well less that a week later, and it was approved on 4/3/01.

Good luck to everyone waiting.

Keeping fingers crossed....if I don\'t get my approval by the end of this month, I may be in trouble !!!!

Company not doing well.....everyone waiting for the inevitable layoffs...
