ND: 03/27/02...Still not received FP

HI Gurus,

I have ND: 3/27/02...But I have still not received FP notice from INS.

When my lawyers called INS, INS told them that my FP was in "slower" que and that nothing was wrong with the case, and to wait another 4 months for FP

I am basically worried that will this delay my GC further ?

Call up

The service center and get an answer for yourself. One can never trust lawyers. Sorry to hear about your delay, which State are you in? Good news is, your 485 RD date has been registered as the day your application reached INS, so while you are waiting for your dates being processed by VSC, the wait for the FP does not really hold anyhting up for you, neither does it push your case back in the queque.... so relax but do your homework and follow up with the service center

Nothing to worry

I got my FP done in July2002 eventhough my RD is Sep -2001. Nothing to worry. It will come soon. Also it does not influence your 485. So just relax and wait for FP. I saw some cases where FP was done after approval. So... just relax.
