I have been schedule for naturalization oath in a week at the US Eastern District Court in Brooklyn, NY at 8 am

Anybody knows if it is possible to reach there by subway. Which train?

What is the procedure once you reach there?

How much earlier should one go there?

What things to take for the oath?

Once naturalization certificate is obtained, how and where do you apply for US Passport? and how to get is quickly?

If anyone is interested, my timeline is below:

First FPrint: 3/2004

I was there a few weeks ago. Take the 4 or 5 train to Borough hall get out and ask anyone for the district court. It is just over Tillary Street.

You should gett there atleast by 9AM. They open the dorrs around 8 or 8:30 and by the time they let everyone in,it is close to 9:15.You go upstairs in a big room and they ask if you bring everything on the paper and if u answer yes to any question.

They also deal with people who have lost their green cards.

Be prepare to stay there until around 11:45 to 12noon.

GoodLuck

Passport can be applied very easily at your local post office. And once it is done, they send it to you by mail.

Btw, did your oath letter come out from the Garden City office?
