Hi All,
If you have taken the above interview with USCIS please let me know some things about the interview:
1) Is the CIVIC test computer based ? If not then is it oral or paper based ???
2) If it is computer/paper based is it multiple choice ?
3) How long normally does the interview last?

Sandy Boy

1) It depends on where you are located. I have heard that Baltimore (if I remember correctly) administers the computerized civics test at the time of finger printing. For the most part the civics test is administered as part of the interview. Again it varies from DO to DO as to how it is conducted (multiple choice vs. fill in the blanks vs. verbal etc.)
2) I have no idea. May be some folks from the forum can pitch in.
3) Anywhere from 5 minutes to 20. A bulk of the time is spent reviewing the N-400. For complex cases, the interview time may take more time.

1. Oral

2. Oral no multiple choice, you either know it or your don't

3. Depends on all your information. Some 15 mins, others over 1/2 an hour. Everyone is different...
