I am a LPR for 9 years, after which i had alot of trips abroad, and its 4 years and 1 day rule that would make me eligible for naturalization soon.

1) When am i to produce the tax transcripts? should i send it with the N400 ? or should i take it to the interview ?
a) should i send the original transcript with the N400 ? or are photo copies enough ?

2)should I write a cover letter that explains how i am eligible, for naturalization stating/quoting the rule and example from M476 ?
b)should i mention about the intention of my sending tax transcripts-to prove that i had not abandoned residency in the US

If you apply under 4 year + 1 day rule it's best to include a cover letter explaining your intent to do so.
Evidence of residency should be brought to the interview..no need to bog down your application by sending in tax transcripts.
