************ Namecheck ***********

Had an infopass today, the officer told me that my name check has been pending since July 2006. She had no idea when it might be done.
Appreciate any advice from the gurus

Count your lucky stars you readily got information to the exact date since it is pending.Many people have no idea about the duration of the pending check and have had to write to multiple sources inluding the first lady just to get that information.Even then there are many who have not got this info.

My case was transfered from NSC to local office chicago,and was interviewed in 2005,caz of retro it was pending, i had info pass yesterday IO at local office told me that my case was transfered back to NSC ,and she told me my name check is pending,besides that she advise me to check with NSC they might have recieved name check clearence,
i call NSC they say the case is still at local office
Confused seniors please through some light on all that
