namecheck cleared

Hi,
I called up nsc and was told that namecheck has cleared and the case is waiting to be assigned to an officer. Its definitely good news for me but i guess i should verify it first. Anyone has any idea how much time it will take from now to approval?

Like anything that has something to do with USCIS, it is impossible to predict. If your PD is current and RD is within processing window, 2-3 months is not uncommon. Since you have a June 07 RD, you may want to keep an eye on the processing dates released every month.

Congratulations ! You have passed a big hurdle

Any idea when your NameCheck got cleared ? I mean a ballpark date is also fine (incase you had called earlier and the IO said not cleared)

My RD is very close to yours as well and my NC was not cleared as of last month.

gcissue123, congrats!! yesterday my spouse also had an infopass appointment. Local IO said that the namecheck is cleared some time during end of october. She did not give exact date though. She asked us to wait for 2-3 months to hear something. But my PD goes will not be current during Dec due to retrogression in EB2. As my 485 already approved last month, would PD be important for my derivative also?? My PD is Oct 2003
 
I took infopass today and was told that namecheck cleared during Oct 07. however, when I had called NSC on 9 Nov, they had told me that namcheck was pending then. So there is some dicrepancy here, unless there is some issue with system update at USCIS.
I yet dont know what how much time "waiting to be assigned to IO" will take?
