Name problem in Welcome Letter

Gurus Help Please..

My First name in passport has two words like "AAA BBBB", in my welcome letter it is showing up as Lastname, AAA B. I guess it was mistaken for middle name showing the initial. (I don't have a middle name)

Will the name in the card appear same as given in the welcome letter? If yes is it good to call customer service and notify the issue or wait till the card comes and do it later.

Please respond, I would appreciate your thoughts.

----- NCSC 1-800 will not do anything they will inform you to file form I-90
or wait till the card comes and do it later.
--- wait till the card comes and then take infopass go to local USCIS office, submit the I-90 form with 2 photographs.

It is sent to you after POE (I took CP for my GC) welcome you a PR with a case no and approx time to get your physical card..
I am not sure if it is sent for GC thro' AOS.

Name Problem Correction in Physical Card

Hi Ginnu and Other Gurus..

I received the physical card and as anticipated my first name has been split into First name + Middle initial...

I guess we need to apply for i-90, can anybody detail me about the steps for the same..

------- take infopass with local USCIS office, get 2 passport style photographs, download the I-90 form fill it and take to local USCIS. take your passport, Green Card, I-485 filing reciept or any other reciept from USCIS that has correct name on it and show them, better also take the birth certificate ,copy of any EAD or AP wioth correct name on it.
dont forget to update the I-90 filing thread.
* keep the copy og Green Card with you.
* if passport not stamped get the passport stamp when you file I-90.
what is your service center? ( local office will send the I-90 to service center)
I read that VSC is taking 3-4 months for new CARD after filing I-90.
