My Do is Atlanta. Initially during the interview, my IO said she will only issue me certificate in first Name - last name combination (No middle name) since my Indian birth certificate shows only my first name in name column. As it common in India, father's first name becomes your middle name but she was not ready to listen to that. My case was not decided since she is waiting for second A file. Then I took an infopass 2 days after interview and made a request to use name that appears on green card on certificate.
Now when I went to infopass today (one month after interview), it seems she is now using initial of my middle name instead of full middle name. Not sure since when but US started issuing green cards with last name, first name, middle initial format on the first line (With complete name at the bottom between <<) Person at infopass says green card shows name with middle initial so that's what will appear and now since administrative oath is already scheduled (I have not received the letter or date yet) they will not allow me to change it to judicial oath where I can get my full middle name on the certificate.
Anybody had similar experience? I am sure my green card has similar format like others with only middle initial on the top.
Anybody knows if you can get US passport with full middle name, if naturalization certificate has middle initial instead of middle name?
