Name on passport different than on GC

My wife filed her I-485 with her new name after marriage, whereas her passport has her old last name before marriage. Our I-485 was recently approved.

1. Once she gets her physical/plastic GC and she wants to travel to India, what name should be there on her airline ticket. Because her names on passport and GC will be different.
2. Do you see any issues if she travels to India based on her passport stamping (before getting physical/plastic GC) as far as her name is concerned.
3. What is the procedure to get her name changed on the passport - we live in LA area.

You need to ..

get the name changed in her passport thro\' the indian
consulate in San francisco. You can get the info from their
website. You can either mail the passport or get it done when
they come to the LA area(about twice a year).
