Name of company working for

I worked for the same company at the same address the last 5 yrs, however it got bought out in between, so the name is different. Job profile is the same

Should I just indicate the current name with original date of employment in my employment history?

I had the same problem and simply up in the old company name with the new company after it - separated by a forward slash [Acme/New Inc.]. This way I was able to preserve the total number of years working for the same employer. Otherwise it would appear as two different companies.

This did not present any problems during the interview. I simply explained the circumstance - proactively - when the IO got to that portion of the application.

what I would do to keep thing simple is used to different lines on the application and list them seperate as 1) Name this date to this day 2) Name this date to this date. easier that way as well as less questions they will ask
