While applying for a transfer of H1 there was a one character mistake in the first name in the data collection sheet and also at some other places . The I 797 came with the correct name , as well as the I 94.
I m planning to stamp the new H1 on my passport when I m visiting India next month. I see that I have to submit my whole application for stamping. My worry is that whether the spelling mistake will cause any problems, and if so what can be done about it.
