Name check?

I was wondering after finger print clearence by FBI does FBI also do name check separtely, if so appx afetr 2nd FP how long we must wait till getting back to FBI for update. Thanks

Addition to this Q please outline what FP2 does?? significance of FP2. is namecheck a part of this??

I understand normally name check is done when file is ready for action (approval/rejection) so unless FP2 is completed as previous one has expired it may not make sense that file is at final stage. It is just my understanding however more senior memebrs may llike to elaborate it?
