Name check response from Senator's office

Guys,

This is the response got it from Senator's office after waiting almost 2 months.I don't think will get my greencard soon.

Response:
Please advise Constituents that the FBI doesn't expedite name check requests.The customer agency detetmines the expedited handling of name checks.
A review of the FBI's name check program database concerning
XXXXXXXXXX (Name),Revealed that a request was received from the USCIS on May,2006 and is currently in process.

Yesterday I also received same letter after 4 month from my Senator - that a request was received by FBI from the USCIS and is currently pending
 
I have just received a letter from Senator Mikulski. It says that they can't help expedite my namecheck. They also provided copies of the USCIS website regarding the background check procedure and another explaining why it can be processed out of order. Well that was not the help I was seeking. I just wanted to know when my NC and fingerprint were submitted to the FBI and if/when they had been returned .... this just shows that they are not even reading what we send them :mad:

on 11/05/07 Per USCIS/NSC IO (1-800-375-5283 press 1..2..2..6..1..enter case number..select 1..select.3..4) My name check was cleared (about date when it was cleared IO told me that she does not have access to that area and can't tell the date information). But I believe it was cleared sometimes after Oct 22 as on that date I received a Senator letter that thay received a response from FBI and on that date NC was not cleared. I hope this IO was telling the truth.

This was first time that any IO told me that NC is cleared, I was always hearing that NC is still pending.

I requested 2 senators to check with FBI and So far I received response from FBI thru these two Senators (July 25th and October 22nd) both confirming NC pending.

I just called NSC through POJ method and the response is same.NSC rep is saying it's still in Name check .I am losing hopes day by day.

TSC/INDIA/I140/485 NIW concurrent filing 09/2005
I140 approved, EAD approved

NC initiated 09/2005 and NC pending, I 485 pending
wrote to senators, first lady: no effect got reply from FBI Miachel xxx, that we need to consider every case carefully etc be assurred etc....
Very frustating. Couple of people known to me from India, filed in 09/05 their I 485's were approved in September 2007.
