Name Check??? please help

All Gurus in this forum--

Can someone tell me how to find if my name check is cleared or not. I heard you can send email to FBI or call some number.... Any guidance will be highly appreciated

Easiest & fastest way would be to goto local uscis office and ask the status of your case. Then ask if your name check is cleared. Some officers say it. Some don't. IF they don't tell you take appointment another day and go again. Most probably you will get another officer who might help you...You can take appointmet http://infopass.uscis.gov/ . And pray that your namecheck is cleared. IF not it can be a mess brother...


This senator and all those things work too. But it will take 3 -6 weeks to get an answer.
 
thsnks for your quick response. The local office is 2-3 hrs drive from where i live.... There is ASC in my city but they dont entertain such request/services like infopass etc.,,

Is there any other option than driving 2-3 hrs to get my name check status...

Can I call USCIS office and try or FBI etc.,,,,

please advise....

Call 1800... number multiple times on different days

Occasionally you are lucky to get a good officer and he or she will tell you your name check status. Some good spots are Tuesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon and friday afternoon.
