Name check, complete or incomplete

I-485 applicant through US citizen wife

notice date: sep 22, 2005
Finger print : October 2005
Work permit : December 2005
Initial inter view : May 2006. (wife and me questioned togather, all evidence submitted, pictures, statements etc)
A year long wait after May 2006.
made Infopass, mailed congressman, Same Awnser "Name check pending"

2nd interview: May 2007. (wife and I were questioned seperately, interview successfull---- I was asked to renew my expired biometrics--- I got it done the same time from accross the street)

Now my questions are

Since I had the second interview, can I assume that my name check is complete

Secondly if after the success of my interview, the next step is approval, then why was'nt I photographed for my GC the same time I went to get my biometrics renewed.

Any help will be appreciated
 
Yes.ur fingerprints expires in 1 months and so once ur Name Check is complete u have to get it done again.I am sure ur Name Check is cleared.
But...why dint u confirm this at he tie of interview...did u ask them whether ur name check is cleared?
