Name Check cleared on 7th july

Today I received the letter from chan

"am responding to your email dated January 21, 2005, concerning your name check status for immigration purposes.

The FBI completed a name check for you on July 7, 2005, and the results were forwarded to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Headquarters, Washington, DC.

Sincerely,

Michael A. Cannon/gmg"

It took almost 330 days to complete my name check .. Not bad by looking at some people are waiting for 700+ days...

Now question is what should I do next ? Please advise

Did FBI tell you when USCIS requested a name check for you ??

Basically how did you come up with this 330 days ? Are you assuming that USCIS sent your namecheck around your 485 ND ??

Wondering if FBI tells you when they received it and when they completed it.

Congrats on getting over the biggest hurdle :)

So the FBI email did tell you when they received the request as well .... nice .... FBI should have an online system to search for these requests -- 6 months to wait for a reply is really painful !!

Did you send snail mails or asked the Senator's team to help you out of Namecheck or it just happened by itself. Please let us know

There is change in LUD today.. I just want to know does change in lawyer cuase last updated date change .. There is no message change so far

My RD/ND is 07/29/2004 and USCIS initiated namecheck on 10th Aug 2004.

I am hoping even I get my namecheck cleared soon. I haven't contacted
senators/congressmen yet but I hope I don't need to do that.

This was according to a response from FBI on 07/07/05 to my email enquiry
I had sent in January 2005. It seems FBI is quite slow in responding to
such emails. Average time is 6 months. If you haven't sent an email to
them yet, you can try sending such request by registered mail to FBI.
Apparently they are responding to such mails faster than email.
 
Thanks, I will try sending them a snail mail.
I send them an email 2 weeks back and as per your timeline I can expect a response by December.
