redkarr - what's application granted for oath?

Like u i'm stuck almost 2 yrs later ... Feb03 PD
got FP done again in oct 04; just rcvd FBI email that name chk was done
1.5yrs ago in mar03 ...!!! Cherry hill is hopeless now they dont even take infopass appt's.

any ideas gurus?

I got a letter from USCIS saying that my oath request has been granted in response to my letter. This was confirmed by my congressmans office also. What it means that all formalities have been completed prior to oath. I have been calling my district office regularly and was told that my name is in the list for oath scheduling. God only knows when they are going to schedule me for oath. It has been a frustating experience dealing with USCIS......they desperately need a complete reform.

I am intrigued with your case though. Why was your application delayed? Most of us got stuck because of name check clearance, but yours was cleared in March 2003. Was your file lost or something? Good luck!
