Name changing issue in oci application

Dear Readers

as per indian passport format applicant name was followed by fathers name I came to USA on 2001 when i get my NY id ,green card ,citizenship it all has only my name with out father's name

when i apply for my oci, problem starts oci NYCGI asking me a name change certicate, since i am using my name how can i get the name change certicate in my case or convince the NYCGI officer in this issue please help me

---------------If your Name on GC is RAM KUMAR and same is on US Naturalization certificate and your name on Indian passport is RAM SHAM KUMAR (Sham is your fathers name) then your name on Indian passport does NOT match with your US citizenship documents like US passport and Naturalization certificate. You need to provide the documents for name change to Indian consulate and follow the guidelines of Indian consulate.
