Name Change in N-400

I am planning to do name change. But, I haven't decided yet.

Do we have to mention it in N-400 if we want to change name or do we get one more option later at the interview/oath etc?

Can we leave it blank in N-400 and at the interview, mention the name change?

Yes, you can leave it blank in the N-400 and then if you decide that you want to change your name, simply notify the IO during the interview.

You can request a name change during N400 application, and change your mind during the interview. You can also request a name change during the interview even if you did not request it during N400 application. I had requested it during N400 but was asked during the interview if I still want to proceed.
After the interview, you will not be able to change your decision.
