Name change in Los Angeles DO

Hello good afternoon,
Just thought I should post a new thread.
Does anyone know how long the delay is if you want to have a name change in Los Angeles D.O.?


I know that a name change must be done in court or wherever a judge is around. I checked out the website and the court (U.S.D.C LA area) will only accommodate 75 people while LA while LACC will have 6000 people. And I expect there will be a great number of name change applicants in Los Angeles area.
I am going to have a name change. But I cant wait that long for the Oath ceremony. Does anyone know this matter?

Name change La DO

This is a U.S. District Court proceeding NOT administrative, and there is always a judge presents in every Oat Ceremony in LA or OC DO
