Name Change - H1B, I-140 approved

Hi All,

I am a Male/Indian on H1B going to complete my 6 years coming July. My I140 is approved. Due to personal reasons, I want to change my Full Name (first name/last name). What is the process i need to follow in my case? I need help ASAP. I am in india currently on a vacation. Is there anything i need to get done in india? I really appreciate your time in this matter...

My I140 is approved.
Due to personal reasons, I want to change my Full Name (first name/last name).
-----If I-140 is approved then on LC and I-140 will be same. suppose your name is RAM SHARMA on LC and I-140 and now you change your name to SHAM VERMA then it will not match with name on I-140 and you may have to get new Indian passport with new name and your Visa stamp and your I-94 will have past name in USCIS records. If I am in your situation I will NOT change the name at this time.
What is the process i need to follow in my case? I need help ASAP. I am in india currently on a vacation. Is there anything i need to get done in india?
---Go to court or find a good lawyer in India. you may have to sign before Magistrate and may have to give advertisement in Local newspaper and then you may have top get your Indian passport with new name, your DL: with new name all bank records with new name.
