Name Change during interview in Los Angeles District

Anyone request to have name change before or during the interview in Los Angeles District? I would like to know how long it takes to receive your oath letter right after the interview if you request to have name change.
Also, when and which court or location was held for your oath ceremony or name change?

I know there would be a delay to get the oath done if name change request during the N-400, but I just want to know how long it would be. Thanks.

Brian,

Some ceremonies in LA are held in a courthouse, with a max of 75 people. I thought perhaps those were for the name changes. But I read somewhere that all ceremonies in LA are conducted by a judge so maybe my theory is wrong. Nevertheless, we cannot tell how backed up the schedule for those court ceremonies currently are.

Here is a link to the schedules : http://www.cacd.uscourts.gov/CACD/G...4e345f626837d38788256815005aa932?OpenDocument

I want to have my name changed during my interview too and I have the same questions as you. But we have the same schedule, so we cannot use each other's experience. What time is your interview? Mine is really early in the morning. Maybe I can catch you to tell you how it went :)

Thanks for your information. My interview is scheduled in the morning 8:30am.
