Name change dilemma

Hi guys,
I have my N-400 intv. on next Tuesday at Garden City, NY. My middle name is abbreviated in GC, but first & last name is written exactly the way it is in the Passport. For example, my middle name is " WXYZ ", and it is written in the GC as " W ". If I want to keep my name as it appears in the Passport, would that be considered as "Name Change"? I don't mind to have my middle initial, but would prefer to have my full name. If having full middle name is considered as changing name, then I wouldn't go for it, otherwise I would like to have my full name as it appears in the Passport. Gusy who have gone through this procedure recently, please help me with your suggestion, advise.

Thanks

Your name will be fully spelled out on the N-400 application during interview time. No abbreviations allowed. Good luck.
