I just have one question, I had wanted to add a name to my names.
Since I have the Oath letter, Can I go and submit documents at court to change the names now since it takes around two or three weeks, so when Oath is done, I do not have any more delays?
Just asking to see if it is advisable. I have paperwork filled and wanted to go to Court House to do that so as soon as the Oath is done, I start on sending updates one time. Instead of running another month or so and since school started, there is limited time for being off.

Someone advise. Kindly.

Yes, you can submit a name change request at your local court now as long as it doesn't get processed before you take the oath.

Yes Bob, I went to the court house and they said it will take two months. Fingerprints have to be run in Austin and till they get them back, they will never process it. So I have submitted that, however I had done fingerprints already at a local area but the paper says I have to go to Austin for finger prints!! I just sent it anyway because they were already done by an authorized place on the same blue card they wanted.
The court did not give me a new card either and wondered why they gave me the paper to read and follow instructions.
Anyway, I started that early, I had not wanted to delay and complicate my file any more after all it had created. Name change would have created more flags that are not necessary.
Well, Oath is in two weeks I am counting down.
Thank ya.
