Name Change after N400

Hi

Anybody has experience or information about name change after completion of N400?(e.g. where,cost,time and forms) And after name change, will a new Ntz cert be issued with new name on that or we just use the old cert but with other name-change document to support that?

Google will solve all your problems on this issue. Just Google "name change in my state (eg. Florida), and the district court will have process for which you will need to follow. There are requirements which you will need to meet, for example name change to avoid debt repayment or avoid criminal prosecution, choosing a controversial name, like Osama Bin O'Reilly, Roger Limbaugh. You can use your same naturalization certificate with your new name to apply for a US passport, you should be fine. if you plan on changing your name, maybe you should do this process and leave the passport application upon completion of this step. It could take up to 30 days in some court district for a name to be changed, because it has be posted in the local newspaper for a certain period of time, before it can be legally changed by a Judge.
