N600 Tracking

This guy applied for his son and it took a little more than 3 months.

You will not be able to track case online ever. Estimate is 6 months but every case is different. My case took 4 months total, but probably would have been 2-3 months if I had not missed divorce document to show it happened years after my birth. Good luck with your case.
 
Is that legal or work

If I applied first N600 and mention that passport is not applied and then after two weeks applied for passport ? so I can wait for 2 to 6 month to get certificate from USCIS ?

Anyone done this ?
