I just came back to update i received my IL today. It's in Charleston, DO.

well, it looks like i may have to take a day off from work as its a 4.5 hrs drive for me.

Does anyone know of any good hotels to stay there. I'm thinking i'll just drive up there a day early. Also has anyone had recent experiences in Charleston, DO. Can you please let me know.

You can utilize city parks for staying overnight, I think temperatures drops to middle of 40s at night, make sure to pack your sleeping bag. :D

Get a vagrant's overnight pass, which entitles you to a free sleeping bag at any state park in SC. The cool thing is that this sleeping bag comes with a bear repellent, it will shoot squirrel meat to any bears approaching your sleeping area..:D

Save the $39.99 which Motel 6 charges, you can surely enjoy a buffet downtown Charleston for $4,99 included in the price is a warm shower with a potato salad and a flat bread.:)

Sanjay, it's a rare monent before getting citizenship. Rent a nice hotel, take a vacation and enjoy the fall.
