N400 submittal 3 months prior to GC 5 year anniversary mark?

I agree with Bob. You may want to check via USCIS...To be in a safe side, she may may want to go with the latter date....for eligibilty counting whereas the resedency date as it appears on GC. Also, pls check 485 approval notice: which should clearly indicate the approval date.

thank you for your input. I think she will wait until mid april. Don't want to risk rejection for the sake of 1 month

Good choice. You don't need to call USCIS to know that the June 2005 on the card is definitely wrong. And USCIS will probably notice the discrepancy at some point. It might be at the interview or during the review after the interview when they notice it, by which time they would have already cashed the check and she would have wasted months. She should apply based on the July 2005 date of her I-551 stamping.
 
Probably OP should disclose this during interview with IO to make sure that it does not create any further problems. Typically, a copy of I-485 approval notice from USCIS should be the key document to prove that the date on GC is not accurate.
