Friends,

I have completed 4 yrs 9 months, however i have been out of the country for 82 days in the last 4.9 yrs. Is there a chance of rejection if i apply N400 now ? OR wait for 3 more months to apply.

Also, i didn't update the mailing address at DMV. One of my parking tickets ended up in my old address ( since i did n't receive the notice) finally due to non payment my license was suspended. I was able to restore by paying fine.

How is the best way to put this down in the application.? Has any of you had any DMV issues leading to suspension. I have all court , dmv receipts.

If in the last 4 years and 9 months you were out of the country only 82 days, you're ready to apply for naturalization.

Also, i didn't update the mailing address at DMV. One of my parking tickets ended up in my old address ( since i did n't receive the notice) finally due to non payment my license was suspended. I was able to restore by paying fine.
