N400 prerequisite

Is there any requirement that an LPR be physically in the U.S. for the 2 or 3 months, or any time period for that matter, immediately preceding her filing her N400? thanks for thoughts.
 
You can be out on a 3 months safari right before applying, but you must be a resident of the district for the last 90 days over which your local DO has jurisdiction.
