N400 photo requirements

I know I need to submit 2 photos with my N400 application. Is this photo same as US passport photo? Can I take it from Walgreens or CVS? Is it expensive? Thanks.

Yes, same standard as passport pictures. CVS and Walgreens takes them for about $8.

Submit 2 pictures with your N-400 application. Get 2 more just before the interview and take them to the interview. I have seem some cases in the forums where the IOs asked for 2 additional pictures since they were not satisfiled with the ones submitted with the application. If IO does not ask, you can use them for the passport.

If you have membership with Costco or Sams Club, you can't go wrong. They are very cheap compared to Walgreens or CVS. In Atlanta, they charge $4.99 for a set of 2 pictures.
