N400 Interview - San Antonio

I applied for my Moms N400 , she is 69. She got her notice letter
which says that you will be notified of the time and place of your interview
within 90 days of this letter.
does this mean that her next step is interview and not FP ?
I would appreciate any insight into this

People who are 75 and older do not need to get their FP taken. Since your mother is 69 she definitely needs to get her FP done. It is possible that her FP notice was lost in the mail. You can schedule and InfoPass and find out what happened. If your mother goes to the Interview and her FP is not done, then she may pass her interview but she will NOT be approved without the FP.

I don't think that FP notice got lost in the mail since the PD is 12/27/06.
What the letter meant is that the processign time for her application can take up to 90 days (super fast); somewhere in between she will be scheduled for FP. No need for infopass — the FP letter is on the way.

So what it says in letter is not incorrect. She will get her interview in 90 days but during that time frame she will get her FP notice also
