N400 - Got my FP notice - Name wrong

I got my FP notice. I noticed that my first name is spelt wrong. One letter in name is missing. But the problem is it was wrongly written by me in my applicaiton itself. how should I correct it.

At the FP appointment itself, you'll have a chance to confirm the spelling of you name. Also, you may want to write USCIS to tell them of your mistake.

I just called USCIS and told them them there is a typo. And the lady at the other side corrected my name and said I would receive a confirmation notice withing 30 days. DO I still need to write to USCIS?
At FP also I will tell them about the typo. Thanks

No need to write USCIS if they were able to correct the spelling of your name over the phone.
