N400- Glad that It is OVER

Hello All, My more than two years saga to become US citizen is finally over. Interview and Oath were scheduled for today at Newark, NJ. The experience at Newark was OK other than few hours of wait for interview and then for oath but I waited for years for this day.

My sincere thanks to people who run this site and everyone who contributes by posting information, it is just incredible. This board has been definitely, without any doubt, biggest help throughout this journey.

First Lady's reply in Jan 2008 informed me that name Check Cleared in Nov 2007

It's done after more than 19 months

My N-400 process was completed yesterday of June 2nd, 2008. Here is my info:

Service center: NSC/Detroit
N-400 receipt date: October 25, 2006
First Finger printing date: Nov 14, 2006
USCIS service request date: July 2007
"Background investigation still open"
FOIPA date: sometime in February, 2008
"No record found"
Second Finger printing notice receipt date: March 11, 2008
Second finger printing date: March 19, 2008
Interview notice receipt date: April 1st, 2008
Interview date: May 1st, 2008
Oath date: June 2nd, 2008

Now I have to start the green card process for my spouse.
