N400 Form question for Part 5

I have a question to fillout N400 Form Part 5. What should be the choice if I am from Indian subcontinent. There are only 5 choices that are listed below without an option for "others". Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

American Indian or Alaskan Native
Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander

All people from india are pacific islanders. Only if one is from china, korea etc then he is considered an asian.

as far as my guessing goes a pacific islander is a person who is from one of the countries on the pacific!!!

Indian peninsula is part of Asia.

Or, since you have an option: "Select one or more" you can mix 2 (Asian) and 4 (American Indian or Alaskan Native) and get your own personalized answer: Asian Indian :cool:

Anyway, this is one of the least important and least relevant question in the N-400...and if the IO is going to discover that you "lied" on this one, you'll not be deported. ;)

Ummm... have you measured the distance from India to the Pacific Ocean? :D
