friends,
i am filling out n400 form for me and my wife and need your help. for section 7 time outside the united states:

1. we went to india in 2010, from may to july and during this trip from india we visited uae/dubai. so what should i write for this trip, i noted as date you left 05/2010 and returned back as 06/30 with countries traveled as india, uae... is this correct?

2. this is oct/nov 2012 and for trips in last 5 years, should i include trips made in may 2007 or it is not needed? or should i include it for safety purposes? fwiw, in my current/valid passport 2007 trip is not there, it is in old/expired passport.

3. i was rear-ended, and there was no ticket issues to me and it was not my fault. should i get the driver report or it is not needed

one final question, lets say i send the documents in 1st week of nov, would i get my citizenship by april/may 2013? as i am planning to travel europe in june 2013, and what about us passport. in worst case scenario, if i dont get my citizenship, i can always get visa on my indian passport is that correct?

please help.

1. Yes. India and UAE.
2. You must list all trips you've taken since you got your GC. In the first space, it asks for the number of days you've spent outside the US in the last 5 years, so in THIS particular space, you will only calculate the days out in the last 5 years. You must still list the individual trips over 24 hours.
3. Nothing necessary.
4. Depending on which office will handle your case, this is possible. You can also get a US passport the same day or next day at a passport centre, but even by post, it takes between 1 and 3 weeks now apparently. You can always postpone your oath ceremonies or interviews and travel as Indian citizens with visas if necessary.

i am not applying on marriage or any other way, so i believe there is no need for marriage certificate, or tax returns or anythig like that, is that correct?

Look carefully through the USCIS N-400 Document Checklist:
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/us...nnel=11616c854523d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD

It explains which documents you need to enclose with your N-400 application, depending on your particular circumstances.
