N400 Chicago Timeline

I mailed my N400 application to Nebreska end of Nov.

Priority Date: Nov 28
Receipt Date: Dec 5

I am still waiting for my fingerprint notice. Why it is taking that long for almost 6 weeks? Could that be a problem? I heard one of my friend whose Priority Date is one week earlier than me has already been scheduled with an interview. Any suggestions for what I could do to expedite the process? I am worried ...

Receipt Letter : June 10th 2008
Fingerprint Notification : June 17th 2008
Date of Fingerprint : June 24th 2008
Interview Letter : July 8th 2008
Date of Interview : September 3rd 2008
Inivitation for Oath : September 12th 2008
Oath Ceremony : September 22nd 2008
