N400 Check Cashed by NOA not received yet.

Hello everyone,
I applied for my naturalization on 02/06/2010 (90 days before my 5 year continuous requirement).
My application was received on 02/08/2010 at Lewisville TX. My check was cased on 02/17/2010.
I have not received my NOA yet. Most other members have received their NOAs within 2-3 days of their check being cashed. Am I worrying too much? How many does it take from check being cashed to receiving the NOA.

I think what is unusual is that it took them 10 days to process a check. However, once the check is cashed on 2/17, I expect you will be hearing from them very shortly. Panic another week down the line... but not now.

the date on the check was 02/12/2010, when it was received in my bank, but because of the president's day weekend my bank actually cleared it on 02/17/2010.
Anyways, I shall patiently wait.......

Called USCIS today, was surprised at the excellent customer service!! They said that if you dont get any communication like NOA from them within ten days of receipt of application, you can call them and they will pull up your application and give u a status update. In my case, they gave me my NBC number. My NOA might still be coming in the mail...they have been having major mail delays in New Jersey. Also the Fingerprinting dates in New Jersey are all backed up because a lot of people had missed their appointments due to the snow storms and so there is a delay in sending out new fingerprinting notices to people. Feel relieved now!
