N400 application form question

Hi all,
I have a simple question on N400 form. The very first question on N400 asks you to write down full first name, last name and middle name. Question 2, asks to write the names exactly as it appears on green card. In my case my middle name, lets say "middle" is written on my green card as only M (just the middle initial). Am I supposed to write M (for middle name field in question 2) or "middle" because the instruction above the field says to write full middle name? Or does it not matter, I am simply being paranoid?

You should follow the instructions. If your middle name shows only your middle initial on your green card, then that's what you put down for your middle name in Q2.

you should write what exactly shows on your greencard. As you described, if your greencard shows your middle name as "M" middle initial, you just have to write down "M".
