N400 app

Folks,

Have you guys been sending cover letter along with the N400 application? What should the cover letter say?

Mine was a simple list that showed the document, the attachments and associated page counts. Pretty much like the cover sheet on a FAX

I did not send a cover letter. I just arranged the documents in order by sticking them in an envelope and labelling them appropriately.
It is not required but its a nice touch. The letter should say what is in the package.
 
Ditto. I did not attach a cover letter either. I sent regular mail. I also made copies of everything i sent in for my records including check and envelope.
