N. VA and Wash DC metro area timings?

I have applied for N400 in July 2004, got the receipt notice but no FP letters yet. I want to hear from others in terms of dates etc from Wash. DC metro area. Thanks in advance.
 
I applied in July under the Washington DO. Shortly afterwards I changed my address with USCIS and my case fell under the Norfolk sub-office under Washington DO.
In mid-November I wrote to my senator and his office wrote back on December 10th saying I should hear from USCIS about a FP appointment within 60 days due to backlogs. Received a letter from USCIS dated December 15th with my FP appointment details!!!
 
I need more detail on this

I did apply on Aug 01, 2004. Recieved PD on Aug 16th, 2004. As of today I have not recieved finger print notice. Can you send me copy of letter you mailed it to your congressman/senetor? Its been 5 months I have not recieved fingerprint notice.
I come under Washingtoc DC office. I know they are very slow but still its about a time to have my fingerprint done. Any advice will be very helpful.

PD: August 16th, 2004 on Letter but website shows Auust 18th, 2004
