OK, I am freaking out a bit here. My fiancé just got back from his Naturalization Interview. It all went well, and according to the officer he had an "excellent" case. Now, the problem is that at the end of the interview my fiancé didn't receive N-652 form which, according to my research, he was supposed to get. He was only told that he should be getting Oath Letter within 2-3 weeks. Should we be worried? can he be denied citizenship at this point? or should we just relax and just wait for the Oath letter to arrive? Thanks in advance for any input

He should have received N-652 after interview, but not receiving it is not any indication of the merits of the application. Be patient and give it at least 30 days after interview before he decides to inquiry about the status of the application.

Thanks for advice. We'll see what is going to happen. I will post an update when we know anything.

It is listed under the USCIS Guide to Naturalization that the applicant will receive N-652 at the end of the interview. The USCIS may continue the citizenship applicationhttp://www.uscitizenship.info or give a decision on the N-652. As suggested by the previous user, you can wait for a month before inquiring about it. If you receive the letter for oath, then missing out the N-652 will be of no consequence.

status update

here is a promised update:

I just checked USCIS web site, and it says that they have placed my fiancé for Oath Ceremony. I guess this means that Oath Letter is in the mail or soon will be, and we will finally know the exact date!
Thank you everyone for the input and advices. I guess I panicked for no reason

How you can check oath status? I went to USCIS site and registered an account. It asked "Application Receipt Number", what's that?

I had an interview today with N-652 for "Congratulations. Your Application has been recommended for Approval." But with couple of checked boxes. So not sure what my status is?
