N-600 - Relevance with \'Child Citizenship Act of 2000\'.

n-600

Hello Group.
We have successfully got our Citizenship thru Naturalization. My spouse has got it 6 months back and I got it after scheduling and scheduling my interview 4 times and finally a few weeks back.
My daughter below 14 yrs born in my home country has got her passport based on \'Child Citizenship Act of 2000\'.

I am wondering what\'s the need to apply N-600 Citizenship Certificate.

Can somebody tell me what will be the problem, if she has just
US-Passport but not the Certificate of Citizenship. The reasons for not getting the Certificate is, it is taking up to 2 Yrs and she may have to attend interview & Oath. We may be moving soon while N-600 is being processed.

Thanks

Child Citizenship

The child does not necesarily need the Certificate of Citizenship. She is a citizen with or without that. I would apply for one though. It might be useful in case she loses her passport, although even then she remains a citizen.

Could you tell me in detail how you claimed her passport ? What supporting documents did you use ?

Thanks,

Robert

Applied for Passport with her own Green Card & her mom\'s Certificate Of Citizenship with proper fee & photoes. That\'s all.
