n 600 letter

i got a letter in the mail from uscis telling me to be at an office at 8:30 am on a certain date i must ask for a immigration officer and to bring my Legal Permanent Resident Card, your Passport or Official Government photo ID. it also mentions that APPROPRIATE DRESS REQUIRED. NO JEANS OR OTHER CASUAL WEAR .

anyone knows what this is about?

So, that's it. It is an appointment to give you the certificate of citizenship. If you have a moment please come back and share your experience. They might ask you to take a symbolic oath. It is not an interview like for naturalization, but it is a formal appointment, thus the requirement to dress appropriately to the occasion.
 
oh ok thanks .....i was really curious to what was gonna happen, the letter just said show up and dress this way lol. I didnt know if was gonna get quizzed or not . thanks for easing my mind and i will most definitely come back and share my experience.
 
They'll just ask a few question to confirm certain things with your documents, then you'll take a short oath in their office and receive the certificate. No quiz or interrogation.
