N-400 - wife status

Well, let me start with the worst part... I am a Deportation Absconder, I was granted a VD on 2004 after overstaying a B2 visa but I never left.

My husband of three years is an LPR who is applying for US Citizenship tomorrow ( mailing the N-400 ) based on the 5 year rule.

There are a few sections from my husband's N-400 which we'd like to get some clarity because they are referring to my status:

PART 8 Section E Question # 2 (Spouse's USCIS A- Number)

He left this section blank.

PART 8 Section E Question # 3 ( Spouse's Immigration Status )

He checked "Other" and typed PENDING I-130 ( He submitted a I-130 for me a year ago ), is this correct or should we just leave blank or type "NONE"?

None of us have had any trouble with the law (other than my immigration status ) ever and we have a three year old child.

Can my status be a problem or a reason for denial of my husband's citizenship?

What would you recommend he says to the adjudicating officer when asked about me?

Thank you so much for your help!

Have you thought about or considered using the services of a law firm? If you can afford one, my suggestion would be to use it at least for an initial consultation. Of course I will leave it to the pros to provide more insight. :)

NONE as an answer would suffice with USCIS. USCIS is adjudicating his naturalization, not your immigration status. I am not recommending anything on what he should say to the IO about your immigration status, IO has no interest in knowing about you, only that HE has meet the eligibility requirements for naturalization. :D
