Hello folks,

Last time I posted here was slightly under 5 years ago when my green card was approved!!

How time flies, aye! (and no I am not canadian). Then again it feels like we have come really far in these few years.

Anyways, just wanted to pass information for those who recently sent their N-400 to VSC..

Mailed N-400 to VSC: July 24, 2007
Received by VSC: July 25, 2007
Check Cashed: August 2nd, 2007

waiting for receipt notice, next steps ...
 
My check was cashed by VSC on July 2 and am still waiting to get into the system (no receipt yet). My wife, who applied on the same day (end of June), has already been fingerprinted. Very frustrating.

got check cashed on 8/9/2007 - mailed on 7/23/2007

VSC - got check cashed on 8/9/2007 - mailed on 7/23/2007
- Recpt Letter recd for me- 09/24/207 PD - 07/26/2007 - Not recd for wife yet.
- No Interview Letter yet

No receipts yet from VSC. Its been a month from the date I mailed my N400 package. Anyone in the same situation?
 
Called up VSC - regarding receipt notice

Don't have receipt notice and it has been over 4 weeks.

Called up the national hotline number...

Options 1, then 2, then 3 and then 6...


they said to NOW WAIT FOR A RECEIPT FOR 90 Days. If after 90 days you still do not have a receipt notice, please call back.. WOW!!!

Talk about a backlog!!
 
N400 delivered to VSC (usps website says) on 08/02, check not cashed yet?
How long do I wait to call them up for status?

I sent in my application around July 16 and VSC cleared my check on July 24th.

I used the ESC #s listed on the check image and I noticed that they accepted my case on August 29th with PD of July 18th. The journey begins.

Does Any one filed in Aug got their cheque cashed and/or got receipt ?
I filed my case on aug 22

Just to follow up, our FP date is scheduled for September 13 in Newark.

Hopefully, the process should follow the normal timeline (what ever normal is).
 
Here's my timeline...

WOW 90 days to wait for the receive letter...that's crazy! I'll keep everyone posted.

FP done at Newark SC earlier today. In and out in 10 mins. No big deal and seemed like they had the process well under control. Now the waiting game begins...
